11/18, SS, The Law of the Harvest

Passage: Galatians 6:7-9
Service Type:

Bible Text: Galatians 6:7-9 | Preacher: Pastor Bruce Carlson |
You reap what  you sow.

See your words, thoughts, and actions as seeds.
See God’s sovereignty bring to pass man’s actions.
See the conflict over the garden of your heart.

You reap later than you sow.

Do not be deceived by delayed judgement.
Do not be discouraged by present barrenness.
Do not be distracted by immediate pleasures.

You Reap more than you sow.

Take every opportunity to plant good seeds.
Imagine the consequences of every seed.
Do not quit on any seed that is good.

This is the law of the harvest: you reap what you sow, you reap later than you sow, and you reap more than you sow. This law worked during biblical days and it works in your life today. As we conclude today’s lesson may we look at our lives and may each of us ask ourselves this question: “What kind of seeds are we sowing.”
