Passage: I Peter 1: 1-9
Service Type:

Bible Text: I Peter 1: 1-9 | Preacher: Amy Carlson | Series: The Liberated Woman

God’s Grace Magnified…look at how big it is! vs 2                                              Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. God’s grace is not given in small quantities

Grace is accompanied in the Bible with words such as abundant, abounding, exceeding, great, multiplied
Our God is an excessive God… He want to rain down His grace in our life beyond our comprehension.  Eph. 3:20; 2 Cor. 9:8
God gives us ALL of his grace.  It is as eternal as he is.  He/it will never run out.
To fulfill our calling–wife, mother, servant, friend

Infirmities- feebleness (of mind or body); moral frailty, disease, sickness, weakness
This word really embodies any lack we may have in any area.  What area do you need to ask God to give a fresh drink of grace in?  Your thoughts?  Your spiritual growth? God didn’t heal Paul but gave him grace. 2 Cor. 9:14
Others are waiting to see the exceeding grace of God in you.

Grace is an ACTION word meant to be an outflow… 2 Peter 3:18; 4:10

Freely as you have received that grace you are to give it to others.

God’s Mercy Magnified.  vs. 3

Mercy- Active, tender compassion; John 10:28-30
Rom. 8:35-39  How’s Your Perspective?

God;s Seasons Measured  1Peter 1:6

Rejoice in the shortness of the season.  James 4:14
Rejoice in the purpose of the season.
Rejoice in the outcome of the season

1 peter 1:7

God’s Son Manifest; 1 Peter 1:8-9

John 16:24  Maybe you have been focused on the troubles and trials you see around you and it has robbed you of your joy.  Have you lost sight of how big GOD is?
How is your Perspective on Life?  Have you lost your focus? Can you rejoice in your infirmities?
Ask God to fill you with HIS grace in your weakness that the power of God may rest upon you today.
