Introduction:

In our passage tonight, we can learn a lot about mining real value from the trials of life.  Trials are a fact of life.  Many will miss the value of them because of:

not accepting them.
running away or hiding from them.
getting angry about them.

Principles to help with problems:

Problems are not accidents, they are appointments.
Problems are there to develop you, not to devastate you.
Problems accelerate Christian growth.

The whole point tonight is, There IS value to trials.

Job 23:8-10

Staking a successful claim in a trial requires these 4 stages.

1.) Recognizing a hidden profit.

1 Cor. 10:13
God inspects our trials.

2.) Removing the hard Parts.

1 John 15:1-2
Ps. 51:10

3.) Receiving a hopeful Perception.

2 Cor 12:8-10

4.) Rewarded with a huge payoff.
